Appeal for witnesses following possession of offensive weapon

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a report of a possession of an offensive weapon in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.

The incident occurred at around 4.50pm on Tuesday 30th April, when two males brandished an axe and a metal baseball bat after a verbal altercation between two groups in Wolverton Recreational Park.

No one was injured in the incident.

No one has been arrested in relation.

One offender is described as a 14 year old Asian male, seen wearing black jeans and a black coat. Whilst the second offender can be described as a 14 year old male, seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a Nike hoodie.

Investigating officer PC Jamie March said: “This was an isolated incident and we are carrying out a thorough investigation into what happened.

“Whilst we have conducted extensive searches for the weapons, an axe with a wooden handle and a metal baseball bat, at this time they remain outstanding.

“As such we are asking anyone with information about either the incident or location of the weapons to please come forward, particularly anyone who may have CCTV, dash-cam or video footage.

“Anyone with information should call us on 101 or make a report on our website quoting reference number 43240199086.
