MK Dons will play AFC Wimbledon at home in the First Round of the FA Cup.
The Dons will face a contest against their fellow post-Wimbledon rivals in the first knockout round of the FA Cup, as per a draw conducted on BBC TV earlier today (14/10).
The game will take place on the weekend around Saturday November 2nd, with a specific date, kick-off time, ticket details and any TV coverage to be announced in due course.
MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon have become familiar foes since first meeting in the FA Cup in 2012, with the game to be the 17th meeting of the two sides founded in the early 2000’s.
This will be the first meeting of the two sides in the FA Cup since that first meeting of the two clubs, which took place in the Second Round in December 2012.
With the two sides in League Two this season, MK Dons have previously faced AFC Wimbledon this season. The team from Milton Keynes suffered a 3-0 defeat in South London in September in one of Mike Williamson’s last games in charge.
The return league fixture at Stadium MK is set to take place on January 25th.
