Details confirmed for MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon FA Cup tie

Details have been confirmed for the upcoming FA Cup tie between MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon at Stadium MK.

The two sides will face off on Sunday November 3rd 2024, with the game taking place as a 12:30pm kick-off.

The match will not be televised in the UK, with neither BBC or ITV opting to select the game as part of their FA Cup coverage.

MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon will be facing off for the second time this season, having already played one another in the league back in September, with a return league fixture scheduled to take place in Milton Keynes at the end of January 2025.

The match will also be the first time MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon have faced off in the FA Cup since the very first meeting of the two post-Wimbledon rivals, which took place in the Second Round in December 2012. That meeting saw MK Dons win 2-1.

MK Dons have confirmed details for tickets for the game as well as confirmation of the date the game will start.

In their announcement, the Dons confirmed that tickets in all regular areas of the ground will be £10 for adults, £5 for under-18s and £1 for under-12s, with hospitality price upgrades available from the official MK Dons website.

The club have also said that season ticket holders’ seats are automatically reserved until 4pm on Friday October 25th, at which point they would be released on General Sale.

MK Dons CEO Neil Hart said in a statement that they wanted to make a positive gesture and were hoping to get as many fans into the ground as they could.

He said, “Again we wanted to do something really positive for our fanbase and the wider city. £10, £5 and £1 are fantastic prices, and yet again makes live football in MK more affordable and accessible than ever! Let’s get as many as we can here for the magic of the FA Cup! We’ll need the fans with us, we know this can be a really exciting match for the community of Milton Keynes.”
